UK Visa Requirements for Ghanaian Passport Holders
Ghanaian passport holders require a Standard Visitor Visa to enter the United Kingdom. Unlike some countries that offer visa-on-arrival or e-visa options, the UK requires all Ghanaian nationals to apply for a visa in advance through VFS Global in Accra.
The UK Standard Visitor Visa allows you to visit the UK for tourism, business meetings, visiting family or friends, attending conferences, or short-term study (up to 6 months). It does not permit you to work or access public funds.
DC INTERNATIONAL BTTS has been helping Ghanaians secure UK visas since 2009. Our Accra-based consultants understand exactly what the UK Home Office looks for in a strong application — and how to present your case in the best possible light.
Important: The UK left the EU in 2020 (Brexit). UK visas are completely separate from Schengen visas. A Schengen visa does NOT allow entry to the UK, and a UK visa does NOT allow entry to Schengen countries.

Incomplete documentation
Our fix: Use our document checklist and have every item reviewed before submission.
